Onsite and online BFPA short flexible hose training courses The Association appreciates that not all employees are comfortable with going down a qualification route. This is why we offer a two-pronged approach to raising safety and skills standards. We continue to develop and improve our short one/two-day training courses delivered either directly by ourselves or through our large cohort of approved training providers. Indeed, 2022 saw a record uptake in direct training with the BFPA from companies across the industry spectrum, a sample of which can be seen in the chart. The BFPA’s online training presence has grown over the last two years, and we are pleased to be able to offer our traditional face to face training along with the option of online sessions where facilities or work schedules prove difficult to release employees to attend courses. Experience has shown that many of our customers prefer their online training to be interactive, so we offer courses where the trainer speaks directly to and interacts with the delegates which allows plenty of opportunities for questions and answers. This format increases satisfaction and encourages full engagement from the delegates. Training development does not stop and the BFPA have successfully created bespoke modular online training courses for companies with employees based all over the world. This is an area ripe for expansion and the BFPA is keen to work with companies to provide
