The latest APOLLO has a 10-inch capacitive colour touchscreen and wireless connectivity, allowing technicians to move around the vehicle while carrying out diagnostic work. It also features 5GHz wireless compatibility, fast boot-up and one-touch code scan and clear functions. The tool covers more than 50 domestic, Asian and European vehicle makes and over 100 vehicle systems, with instant vehicle identification available for most vehicles from 2008 onwards. Technicians can access OEM-level data, functional tests and graphing, with up to eight live data parameters displayed on screen at once. The device utilises Snap-on’s Fast-Track Intelligent Diagnostics, which brings together information intended to help technicians work through a fault, including SureTrack Top Repairs and verified Real Fixes based on previous repair records. Smart Data selects parameters relevant to a fault code and flags readings outside their expected range at idle. APOLLO also includes access to vehicle- and code-specific technical service bulletins (TSBs), service resets and relearns, oil specifications and resets, and tyre and wheel fitment information. Pre- and post-scan reports can also be saved and shared with customers.
