Hydraulics & Pneumatics Magazine July/August 2026

Held annually at the NFPC’s Worksop headquarters, the open day brings together industry professionals to connect, learn and explore developments in fluid power, control and automation. More than 50 exhibitors are expected to take part, reflecting the continued growth of the exhibition and its role in bringing together the UK’s fluid power community. Visitors can also attend a programme of technical lectures and live demonstrations throughout the day, while also taking the opportunity to meet exhibitors and network with industry peers. John Savage, Managing Director of the National Fluid Power Centre, says interest in this year’s event has been particularly strong: “We’re thrilled that everyone who attended our Open Day Exhibition last year said they would love to attend again. This year’s turnout is expected to be our biggest so far. Out of 55 exhibitor places available, we already only have five places left, so we encourage companies to book their place early so they don’t miss out.” The event reflects the increasing importance of knowledge sharing as the fluid power sector continues to embrace digitalisation, automation and smarter maintenance strategies. Alongside the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to network with industry peers, attend expert-led technical lectures and gain firsthand insight into the technologies and engineering practices shaping the future of fluid power. With exhibitor space nearing capacity ahead of the event, the 2026 NFPC Industry Open Day Exhibition looks set to build on the success of previous years. For engineers, manufacturers, OEMs, distributors and system integrators looking to keep pace with the latest developments in fluid power technology, it promises to be one of the sector’s standout events of the year. The event runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm and includes free parking, complimentary refreshments and a buffet lunch, as well as a free prize draw for attendees.
