TM Robotics has appointed Matthew Holyoake as sales manager for its Shibaura Machine injection moulding machine offering across the UK and Ireland. He will be the principal contact for Shibaura Machine customers in the region and will support the company’s growth in integrated injection moulding and automation solutions. Holyoake brings nearly four decades of experience in the plastics and injection moulding sector. After completing a four-year electrical and mechanical engineering apprenticeship, he progressed through production, manufacturing management and commercial roles before moving into sales and international business development. His career includes senior positions with leading injection moulding machine and ancillary equipment suppliers, including 14 years selling injection moulding machinery across the UK. He later expanded into international sales, covering Western Europe with responsibility for masterbatch, additives and injection moulding machinery. “A big part of my role will be building new relationships across sectors like medical, automotive, packaging and trade moulding, where we’re seeing continued growth in demand for injection moulding,” said Holyoake. “At the same time, I’ll be working closely with our existing customers to help them improve space efficiency, flexibility and production rates, using both horizontal and vertical injection moulding machines.” Nigel Smith, CEO of TM Robotics, welcomed the appointment. “We’re delighted to welcome Matthew to the team,” he said. “His understanding of both the technology and customer requirements will be a real asset as we continue to expand Shibaura Machine’s injection moulding offering across the UK and Ireland.” Industry-leading linear motion specialist HepcoMotion has appointed David Steele as Production Director, marking a significant milestone in a career that began at the company as an apprentice. Having joined HepcoMotion as an apprentice 26 years ago, David steadily progressed through a variety of roles, including Production, Project Engineering, Quality & Projects Management, and Production Management at the company’s headquarters in Tiverton, Devon. David’s journey from apprentice to director reflects HepcoMotion’s long-standing commitment to developing talent in-house, with clear progression routes from apprenticeships through to leadership roles. Nearly one third of the company’s management team began their careers as Hepco apprentices. Reflecting on his appointment, David Steele commented: “I’m delighted to take on the role of Production Director. Goran Susak will assume the new position from the 1st July. In his new role, Susak will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the company’s German land transport and logistics activities. Key priorities include the stabilization and further development of the organization as well as expanding integrated logistics solutions. His scope of responsibility included road freight and contract logistics as well as sea and air freight. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles in sales and contract logistics. He began his career at Dachser. Susak commented: “Gebrüder Weiss stands for reliability, entrepreneurial thinking, and a very clear commitment to quality.
