Daimler Truck UK has announced that Managing Director & CEO Heiko Selzam will be leaving his role to take up a new position as President & CEO of Mercedes?Benz Türk, effective 1 August 2026. Heiko joined Daimler Truck UK as Managing Director & CEO in April 2022 and during his tenure he has played a key role in strengthening the company’s presence in the market, supporting customers and partners through a period of significant transformation for the transport and logistics industry. His leadership has been instrumental in driving performance, customer focus, and the continued development of the UK organisation and dealer network. He leaves Daimler Truck UK in a very strong position. In his new role, Heiko will lead the Mercedes-Benz Türk business, supporting the company’s continued growth in the region and contributing to its broader international strategy. He will be based at OMRON’s European headquarters in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. Shelar brings more than 25 years of experience in high-tech industry, leadership development, and business transformation. He joined OMRON in 2014 and has held a series of progressive leadership roles, including President of the OMRON Management Centre Asia Pacific, General Manager of the Global HR Strategy Department, Chairman of the OMRON Management Centre Europe, and Senior General Manager of Global Business Operations and Services within the Industrial Automation business.
