Based at its warehouse and distribution facility in Christchurch, Dorset, the company supplies thermoplastic, PTFE, rubber hydraulic, industrial, composite, stainless steel and flexible hoses, together with fluid connectors and Exitflex surface finishing products, to customers across the UK. The business has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the sales and distribution, assembly and testing of thermoplastic, PTFE and rubber hoses and associated fittings and components since May 1997. Following its November 2025 inspection, SGS UK Ltd confirmed that Polyhose UK remains in continued compliance. Managing Director Marc Whibley said the company remains committed to maintaining high quality standards and supplying products suitable for high-pressure and high-stress applications, with ISO accreditation forming part of its quality management system. Polyhose UK was founded in 1985 as Exitflex UK, supplying paint spray hoses and accessories for surface coating. The company relocated to Christchurch in 1986 and has operated from the town since. In 2009, it was acquired by Polyhose India and, in 2015, officially changed its name to Polyhose UK Ltd. In 2025, the company opened a new warehousing facility in Christchurch to increase UK stockholding capacity and support customer service. The 40-year milestone was marked with an event attended by employees, local business partners and representatives from Dorset Chamber, Lloyds Banking Group and R&G Fluid Power Group Ltd. Today, Polyhose UK supplies customers in Dorset and across the UK in a range of fluid transfer applications. These include hydraulic systems in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, automotive and marine sectors, as well as industrial applications such as water jetting, sewer cleaning, high-pressure blasting and painting, fire suppression systems, and LPG and industrial gas transfer.
