Precision sensor supplier Micro-Epsilon has strengthened its presence in Ireland with the establishment of a dedicated division, MicroEpsilon Ireland Limited. The new operation, based in the Dublin region, will be led by Regional Sales Manager Robert Redmond, marking a significant step in enhancing the company’s local service and support capabilities. The new division will provide customers in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland with improved access to Micro-Epsilon’s full range of advanced sensor and measurement solutions. This includes 1D, 2D, and the latest 3D sensor technologies, as well as infrared temperature products and colour inspection sensors. The new office will also offer precision test facilities and localised sales and service support. Chris Jones, Managing Director of MicroEpsilon UK & Ireland, highlighted the importance of the Irish market: “Manufacturing is a cornerstone of the Irish economy, with world-class operations in electronics, medical technology, biopharmaceuticals, and food production. Occo Coolers (Telford) manufactures air blast oil and water coolers, providing both standard and bespoke heat exchange solutions. The company serves industries including general hydraulics, offshore, scientific, and automotive sectors. With a history spanning over five decades, the company assumed production responsibilities in 2006 and has maintained its presence in the market. Hunter commented on his new position: “The Occo range has a strong reputation in the industry for reliability and adaptability. Our ability to develop customised products and meet tight deadlines has been instrumental in establishing our reputation over the past 18 years.” He further noted his commitment to supporting the company’s clients in the UK, Europe, and internationally.
