NEWS From 29 August to 1 September 2022, Hydreco Hydraulics will be showing its new solutions at ONS, the trade fair for energy and Oil & Gas equipment, with over 1200 exhibitors, to be held in Stavanger exhibition centre, Norway. In the naval, marine, and offshore sector, Hydreco and Duplomatic solutions are employed in all motion systems, such as cranes, winches and mobile bulkheads and ship doors. High reliability and precision are the focus to meet the requirements imposed by extreme conditions such as those offshore, where particular attention to human safety and environmental protection is required. Main features At the ONS show, the company will be exhibiting: n Hydreco HY pumps and remote-control systems as well as BLS6 distributors n Duplomatic ex proof valves, subsea valves and compensators The new Hydreco range of aluminum external gear pumps on display at ONS is made in the new production site in Parma, Italy. The HY series is provided with an aluminium alloy housing, two gear wheels supported by sleeve bearings and cast- iron flange and cover. Available as pumps and motors, series offers high efficiency and can be applied in standard and heavy- duty application, due to the high reliability and the accuracy of design and production. The pumps can be supplied as single or as multiple units with a wide variety of options on flanges, shafts and ports, providing the right setup on each application. Other additional features and developments will also be on show at the booth. Remote controls, also developed by the Italian entity of the Group, include an extensive range of hydraulics remote control valves for pilot circuits, hand and foot operated. All devices can be supplied with more than 200 metering curves for the optimal regulation of main controls. Different types of ex proof valves are produced by Duplomatic MS from pressure valves to directional valves and flow control valves, both solenoid and proportional. These explosion-proof valves can be installed in the most part of the world as they are approved for EU market with ATEX and worldwide with IECEx certification, and for specific countries, like Brazil and India, with InMETRO and PESO certification. Duplomatic also develops subsea products such as solenoid operated valves and subsea compensators. A proven track record and extended testing of these products make them reliable to specific applications. Hydreco will also introduce a range of bankable valves. This range responds to the demand for a compact but effective solution with a flow capacity from 15 l/min to 60 l/min and the possibility of assembling up to 8 working sections. ONS is a global meeting point for Hydreco customers in the energy and oil & gas industry, that represent a major portion of Hydreco revenues in Norway. These sectors are also key targets for Duplomatic Hydraulic Systems, the premier source for the design and construction of custom-made hydraulic power systems. Hydraulic Systems BU cares about engineering manufacturing and testing for tailor made large hydraulic power units, valves manifolds. The usual approach is clearly to understand customers’ requests and suggest the best solution for the application in terms of space, weight and cost. “We are honoured to be exhibiting at this show, that is one of the most relevant events for this energy industry and for the Norwegian market,” says Magnar Olsen, general manager, Hydreco Hydraulics Norway AS. Showcase for next organisational change ONS is also the showcase for the Group’s next organisational change. Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco Hydraulics, says the recent acquisition by Daikin Industries of Duplomatic Group and its legal entities – including Hydreco – will open new horizons in the journey towards innovation and expansion in the Group.
