Ashton Seals has welcomed Jessica Galantino to the company’s export team. With extensive foreign language skills, she will be working in business development showcasing Ashton Group’s full range of products to existing export customers, as well as looking to generate growth in new export markets. Ashton Seals Ltd’s managing director Zoë Fearnley says: “The addition of Jessica to our team will bring enormous benefit to our export division and to our customers. Fernando Gironi has been appointed as general manager. This is a welcome return for Gironi who began his career in the world of automation at Pneumax in 1992. As a manager, he has gained a great knowledge of the pneumatic automation sector, which has resulted in him obtaining top positions in many international companies. He comments: “We have a very ambitious operational plan based on the core values ??we share and that put the ‘person’ at the centre. We aim to meet and satisfy customer needs through our production capacity, technology, expertise and experience, creating added value together, always.” Fabrizio Cattaneo has been appointed at technical director. Like Gironi, Cattaneo brings with him a wealth of experience in manufacturing and product development. We continue the process of renewal and the strengthening of the company’s management which from today broadens the team’s high profile and ready to face a season of new challenges.” Valve and actuator supplier Bonomi (UK) Ltd has appointed Thom Shannon to reinforce its customer focus across the UK process and industrial markets. Supporting several key strategic accounts, Shannon will have a regional and national remit with responsibility for developing Bonomi’s presence with OEMs, end-users, contractors and within distribution channels. Shannon has 20 years’ experience in the process automation field, having in the past worked for some of the industry’s largest global players, developing extensive knowledge of the valve marketplace. His experience working with customers has involved many different industrial processes, covering both automation and fluid control, including food production, oil & gas, utilities, mineral & aggregates, chemical and petrochemical along with more niche applications such as life science, medical, composites, F1 and aerospace. Shannon comments: “In my new role with Bonomi I will also be involved in new business generation as Bonomi’s fast expanding range offers plenty of scope for significant expansion across many industries.
