SPS PREVIEW n visitors to innovative hardware and software suppliers, highlighting the technical challenges currently being faced and how they are being tackled. “The aim of our tours is to provide targeted insights into key technologies such as AI, digital twins, and security in system architecture,” explains, Dr Ingo Herbst, a spokesman for the organisation running the tours. “A key priority for us is facilitating the transfer of technological expertise into industrial practice.” Four presentation stages on the exhibition floor will offer an opportunity for discussion, knowledge sharing, and inspiration. The presentations will be either in English, or in German with simultaneous translation. A particular highlight will be the Technology Stage organised by the German industry associations, VDMA and ZVEI. In addition to Industrial AI, its focus will be on current developments, trends, and challenges in automation – from digital transformation to sustainable production. Three shared stands in Hall 6 will offer visitors expertise in specific topics: n Automation meets IT At this stand, visitors can dive into digitalisation, cybersecurity and Industry 4.0 topics. The world of traditional automation merges with that of cutting-edge IT. n International Start-up Area At this hotspot for innovation and networking, startups from around the world will present fresh ideas and disruptive technologies. n Young Innovators This shared stand offers young, innovative German companies an opportunity to present their developments to a broad trade audience.
