We made the decision to exhibit our products and safety solutions fairly close to the event, but were very pleased on the stand design/outcome, and the stand position which seemed to attract a good number of visitors. We decided to show as many “working demonstrations” of our solutions as was possible throughout the stand design, and this seemed to gain a good deal of interest from our visitors. The addition of a small coffee van with barista also made a nice addition and gave our sales staff the ideal opportunity to “reward” our interested clients with a nice hot coffee whilst they were waiting. This worked very well and seemed to attract the clients to stay and talk longer. As with most exhibitions there were times when more people were on the stand than others, but across the 3 days the DOLD Industries stand seemed to maintain a steady flow of interest when other stands were noticeably less active. We also took the opportunity to bring across one of our technical specialists from the DOLD HQ in Germany, which also worked well when clients had more involved technical questions they wanted to discuss with our UK sales team. Across the 3-days we also had a high level of interest from our technology competitors who were also attracted to the stand and wanted to see/hear more about our products. This event was the ideal fit for the broad range of high integrity safety products and solutions available from the DOLD organisation, and it provided us the ideal platform to meet with both existing customers of our products, and with new clients from a broad range of industries/sectors. We look forward to exhibiting at the next Drives & Controls Show and have already placed our booking. Our intention will be to build an even bigger/better stand next time round as we see this event a really good way to capture new business, network with industry colleagues, and to further build our companies brand and share within the UK and Ireland marketplace. n SHOW REVIEW First time but not the last time!
