Dave brings almost two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket to the role. He joined LKQ 16 years ago and was previously on the UK & Ireland leadership team, working on the operational development of the business before moving to his current position at LKQ Europe. Julian brings over 30 years of executive experience and a strong background in strategy and technology to support the business’s future plans. He has operated at board level for many years in roles such as CMO at Volkswagen Financial Services Commenting on the appointment, Amanda Webb, CEO at FixMyCar, said: “Having someone like Julian come on the journey with us demonstrates how strong our brand is and reflects the exciting opportunities we have ahead of us. We look forward to collaborating with him to define FixMyCar’s long-term vision and strategy.” First Line appoints new UK Sales Manager Lewis Wykes has joined First Line Ltd as UK Sales Manager. He has 22 years of automotive aftermarket experience, gained through a variety of senior sales and account management positions, with responsibilities including developing national sales strategies, managing key customer relationships and leading teams to deliver sustainable growth. In his new role, Lewis will lead First Line’s UK sales function, working closely with customers and internal teams to strengthen partnerships, identify new opportunities and support the company’s continued growth ambitions. Commenting on his appointment, Lewis said: “My focus will be on building strong relationships across our customer base, supporting the sales team and implementing strategies that deliver measurable growth.” LKQ Europe announces leadership transition As part of the continued expansion of its equipment division, A1 Diagnostic Solutions, A1 ADAS Group has appointed Ant Lunt as Regional Sales Manager. Ant has over two decades of motor trade experience, including knowledge of wheel alignment, workshop equipment, diagnostics and MOT testing equipment. Based in the North West, Ant will primarily support customers across the North of England. His appointment forms part of a wider restructuring of A1’s sales operation as the business continues to invest in expanding its equipment supply, installation, training, and technical support offerings. “Ant’s reputation within the industry speaks for itself. He brings a huge amount of experience, technical understanding and customer-focused thinking to the team. One of the first things he did after joining us was spend time with customers and visitors on our stand at the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event.
