Hybrid wiper blades combine the mechanical sturdiness of a traditional metal frame with the sleek aerodynamics of a flat blade. This unique construction features an integrated aerodynamic shell that applies constant pressure to the windscreen. The result is a streak-free wipe, even at high speeds, and significantly reduced wind noise for a quieter, more comfortable drive. Finding true OE replacements in the aftermarket has often been a challenge. Valeo is one of the very few OE suppliers to offer this specific technology to the aftermarket, eliminating the need to compromise by fitting conventional blades or generic flat blade retrofits. New-to-range products from febi Laser Tools has added a pair of rear brake adjustment tools (part number 9251) to its range. According to the company, the purposeshaped levers make adjusting rear drum brakes straightforward, fast and reliable. The tools have been designed for cars, vans and many EVs that retain drum-type rear brakes and allow technicians to access and operate adjusters through the backplate or to manually pre-set shoes when the drum is removed. The tools’ shaped blades engage common adjuster slots for accurate control of shoe-to-drum clearance and remove fiddly, improvised methods, reducing repeat adjustment trips. Manufactured from strong chrome molybdenum, with a black phosphate finish, the pair of adjusters covers tight and more open access points so technicians can choose the best tool for the job. Tool A has an overall length of 153mm and a tapered blade width of 8mm tapering to 1.0mm and 1.8mm. Tool B has an overall length of 80 mm and a tapered blade width of 8 mm, tapering to 0.8 mm and 1.8 mm. More than 900 new part numbers have been added to stock across febi’s car, LCV, truck and Blue Print ranges this month. Highlights include 54 new additions to the febiPLUS range, including transmission oil and filter service kits for the Telsa Model 3 (2017>). Also added to the range were 22 new drive shafts and precharging pumps for Haldex couplings. A total of 34 turbochargers have also been introduced to the range (available in the UK and Northern Ireland only). febi truck range additions include 61 new electric products, including an exhaust gas temperature sensor for the Mercedes-Benz Actros (2011>). A total of 35 new steering and suspension products include an air spring for the Renault C & D Series & Vovlo FL3 (2013>). Blue Print car and LCV items include braking and filtration products. The febi, SWAG and Blue Print brands all fall under the bilstein group umbrella with the group offering more than 75,000 technical replacement parts for professional vehicle repairs.
