Optima C5 LSOV 0W-20 now meets the latest API SQ and SQ-RC categories, alongside ILSAC GF-7A, reflecting the most recent advances in engine oil performance standards, Exol said. These additions build on the oil’s existing low SAPS, fuel-efficient for mulation, delivering further improvements in deposit control, high-temperature viscosity stability and fuel economy performance compared to previous API SP and ILSAC GF-6A categories. FAI Automotive has reinforced its commitment to high-quality engine repair solutions with the introduction of an extended five-year / 60,000-mile warranty across its full timing chain kit (TCK) range. FAI has supplied the market with OE-matching timing chain solutions for more than 15 years and over 2.5 million kits have been sold. The TCK range undergoes rigorous testing, including endurance, durability, destruction and thermal shock testing. FAI said the programme incorporates the latest OE advancements, such as high torque chains for modern applications. Chain flex is limited to 0.3%, far exceeding the aftermarket norm of 1-3%, further extending longevity. SACHS has announced its latest range expansion, introducing brand new aftermarket transmission and suspension parts to its product lineup. A total of 111 new shock absorber part numbers have been added, including 11 new parts for commercial vehicles such as the seventh-generation Ford Fiesta van and the Vauxhall/ Opel Vivaro C. For the remaining passenger car parts, customers can expect to find shock absorbers for Audi, Hyundai, KIA, Vauxhall/ Opel, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Citroen/DS, Mazda, Volkswagen, Ford and FIAT models in stock. SACHS said its products have been manufactured with the highest quality standards for over a century and using high-grade materials. Nissens has introduced an ignition coil range in an expansion of the company’s engine efficiency category. The innovation directly results from joining forces with Standard Motor Products, a global leader in aftermarket and OE automotive components. Nissens said despite the ongoing electrification of mobility, ICE vehicles will continue to dominate the European car parc well into the future and the ignition coil creates a robust market opportunity as a regular replacement, high demand component. The coils are manufactured in advanced, ISO, and IATF 16949-certified facilities, ensuring genuine Nissens quality, the firm said.
