Haywood, whose appointment was effective November 3, has over 25 years of technology leadership experience across some of the world’s leading consumer brands, including Cadbury Schweppes. She succeeded Adam Gerrard, who left the business at the end of October. Most recently, Haywood was global CIO at the Carlsberg Group, where she led a major transformation of the company’s digital and technology infrastructure. Haywood said: “Over the coming years digital transformation will play a key role in shaping the future of the business and I am very excited about being part of that journey.” ALLDATA sales director post for Milling Gardner named ETB’s parts procurement manager Nørgaard Høgh joins Tjekvik ALLDATA Europe has appointed Damian Milling as sales director to spearhead UK operations and support the firm in its expansion of coverage in Europe. Milling reports to Peter Ballè, new ALLDATA Europe VP for sales. With more than 30 years’ experience of the automotive aftermarket, Milling brings a wealth of knowledge spanning motor factoring, manufacturing, independent workshops and now repair data services. His career began at Mill Auto Supplies, where he rose from the warehouse floor to become sales and marketing manager. He then went on to hold positions at ZF and Mann+Hummel. His ties to the trade are also personal, with close family connections to an independent workshop. Milling said: “Cars are becoming increasingly complex, and workshops cannot afford to guess. With genuine OEM repair data from ALLDATA Europe, jobs that should take six hours take six hours – not eight with only six billed.” Haywood is new Halfords’ CIO Digital self-service aftersales tech firm Tjekvik has appointed Martin Nørgaard Høgh as chief revenue officer. Nørgaard Høgh has over 15 years of automotive industry experience, most recently as VP of sales, marketing and business development at Connected Cars, a producer of vehicle connectivity solutions. Prior to that, he pursued a series of entrepreneurial ventures and spent over seven years with Volkswagen in Denmark. In his new post, he will play a key role in helping the business build on its current high rate of growth across Europe and foster links with dealer groups and aftersales service providers. Tjekvik CEO Christian Mark said: “Martin’s expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we take steps to further build our presence across Europe and further afield.” ETB has strengthened its team with the appointment of talented aftermarket expert Sarah Gardner as parts procurement manager. She is responsible for working directly with suppliers to improve relationships and maximise opportunities across the company’s equity stores. Gardner also oversees garage consumables, parts suppliers and supports the wholesale side of the business on tyre supply. Arriving from the First Stop network, she has thrived in a retail business consultant role for the past five years and brings a wealth of experience in supplier relationships and instore retail support, ETB said. Before her time at First Stop, Gardner spent five years at Goodyear. She also spent three years at International Tyres, initially covering truck inbound sales, before moving into a field business development manager role.
