Send your people and recruitment news to the editor: john@aftermarket.co.uk BORG Automotive Group appoints new CEO BORG Automotive Group has appointed Jesper Møberg to succeed Kim Kruse Andersen as CEO, while Ernst Kildegaard has been promoted to executive VP. The moves came as BORG appointed a new senior leadership team to drive the next phase of growth and launch its ‘Refine4Future’ strategy. BORG said that Møberg’s appointment, with immediate effect, would see him bring to the role a strong strategic profile, deep industry knowledge, and 15 years of experience within the group. He most recently served as CFO, since 2023, and will now lead Refine4Future, a strategic direction focusing on driving sustainable growth and ensuring competitiveness in a rapidly changing market. The goal is to strengthen BORG’s position as a leading supplier of remanufactured and newly produced automotive parts. Kildegaard most recently held the post of chief supply chain officer. Meanwhile, BORG’s board thanked Kruse Andersen for his outstanding commitment, vision, and leadership. He has been part of BORG Automotive Group since 2009 and served as CEO since 2014. Jesper Møberg Ernst Kildegaard Phillips to help accelerate Thinkcar growth Thinkcar UK has named Garry Phillips as southern regional manager for automotive diagnostics and equipment, as the company continues to strengthen its national support for distributors and garages. With a remit covering the southern region of England and Wales, Phillips will work closely with Thinkcar UK’s distributor partners and business development managers, helping them better understand and promote the brand’s growing range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. He will also play a key role in introducing Thinkcar UK to new customers across the area. Phillips has more than 30 years of experience in automotive air conditioning and diagnostics, having held senior roles across a number of leading aftermarket businesses. Throughout his career, he has focused on technical training and education. His work has included creating recognised IMI qualifications and delivering hands-on training programmes. He also has experience in heavy-duty diagnostics and advanced HVAC systems. Garry Phillips Tanguy Léon-Pflieger has been appointed as the new VP for B2C sales of Michelin Europe North region as of July 1. He succeeds Agostino Mazzocchi, who is moving to Michelin Italy as president and CEO. In his new role, LéonPflieger will be responsible for the cars, motorcycle and bicycle business divisions for the UK and several other European markets. He will be responsible for managing sales in the region together with the international teams and reports directly to Maria Röttger, president and CEO of Michelin Europe North. Léon-Pflieger has been MD of Michelin Suisse since 2023 and has been working for the mobility company since 2017. Prior to this, he had worked at Michelin in several roles in sales and the supply chain. Pellegrino Luongo will take over the position of MD of Michelin Suisse. Luongo has previously managed the B2C business in Switzerland as regional sales manager since 2018. Prior to that, he worked at Euromaster for a number of years.
