LKQ said yesterday that van Erven Dorens brings more than 25 years of experience to the company, having held senior finance and management positions in global businesses including Proctor & Gamble and S C Johnson — and most recently as CFO of EMEAI in Honeywell’s aerospace division. As part of the LKQ Europe executive team, van Erven Dorens will be based at the business’ headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, reporting directly to Rick Galloway, global senior VP and CFO at LKQ Corporation. He will also work closely with Andy Hamilton, president and executive MD at LKQ Europe. Keyloop said on September 25 the appointment followed its acquisition of Kentheadquartered ATG last May. Smith (pictured) will spearhead a newly established ‘strategy function’ that encompasses value propositions and marketing, driving the positioning and development of the ‘Fusion’ automotive retail platform (ARP) to support OEMs, financiers, fleet suppliers and others globally, Keyloop said. Fusion will expand on the success of ATG’s omnichannel retailing platform which focused on supply and demand, the firm said. Bailey will report to Alan Findlow, head of retail distribution sales for the UK and Ireland. In addition to Partner+, Bailey will support PCL’s marketing manager, Matthew Butters, in implementing the firm’s marketing strategy. Sheffield-based PCL designs and manufactures tyre inflation and compressed air products for industrial, petrol forecourt and automotive markets. Partner+, which aims to increase the brand’s market share by helping distributors flourish, has steadily gained momentum since its introduction in 2019, PCL said. The programme has been created for distributors who take a broad range of PCL’s products to develop and sustain long-term sales. PCL said Bailey brings expertise in partner relationship management from her previous role within the manufacturing industry.
