Repairify said Phillips, an experienced automotive trade and business development manager, will expand the firm’s IMIqualified team. As a former trade and retail parts manager and BDM working closely with shops and vehicle manufacturers, Phillips has a wealth of technical knowledge and problemsolving expertise, the company said. Russell joins from Launch Tech UK, where he has been UK sales manager since 2010. Since 2022, he was also manager at air con provider AP Air Europe. In his new post, Russell will help mechanics and garages understand how Thinkcar UK’s range of diagnostic tools can boost their businesses, the company said. Alex Gillbanks, MD of Impact Diagnostics, the specialist supplier behind Thinkcar UK, said Russell has extensive knowledge of the diagnostic tool market as well as the wider garage sector. “His enthusiasm for our range of tools will make him a great asset and will also mean he is able to support our customers.” Technicians and garage owners will be able to speak to Steve at the upcoming Mechanex Sandown show, taking place from November 12-13, where Thinkcar UK will be on stand D60.
