Kane said: “Autogem is fantastic at product development, training initiatives and marketing, so it’s up to us to amplify these messages and give the business the success that it deserves. “I’ll be looking to create new business leads and sales opportunities and I’ll be putting a lot of pressure on myself to get the right results.” McGilp said: “There is so much potential here. Autogem feels like a close-knit family and my first impressions are that we can make a big difference to the business in a number of ways.” Luke Winship and Kevin Petrie have joined Diesel Technic UK’s sales team. He is based in Wolverhampton and is responsible for growing and managing Diesel Technic’s business with partners across central England and Wales up to the M62 corridor. He has held sales manager and business development positions at Euro Car Parts, Globe and most recently Majorsell. Petrie’s wealth of experience includes more than 30 years in automotive aftermarket sales covering passenger cars, LCVs and commercial vehicles. In a related move, Andrew Beaumont has been promoted to head of operations managing the logistics team and two new team members in the customer service department. Meanwhile Lee Harris is the firm’s new parts specialist and Natalie Lawton is customer service coordinator.
