TMO will be on stand D72 in hall 6 alongside its partners Howden – the new name for Aston Lark, and Tyl by NatWest. The initiative, designed to emphasise the importance of tyre maintenance and regular checks, is supported by both TyreSafe and the tyre and road safety campaigner Sophie Lyden. Details of the campaign are featured on page 56 of this issue. Europe’s leading manufacturer of aftermarket hot end emissions products, BM Catalysts, is gearing up to launch a dedicated garage campaign, including two new online platforms, at the NEC event. The company will be on stand F20, hall 6, to showcase its commitment to supporting the automotive aftermarket at all levels. Marketing manager Holly Brailsford said: “We can’t wait to unveil all at the event. Our focus is always on continual investment and improvement and these new initiatives will only help to enhance our offering and provide even greater support to ensure the aftermarket can continue to thrive.” YouTube star teams up with Thinkcar UK The star of YouTube channel Mechanic Mindset will be appearing with Thinkcar UK at the show. For the last five years, Mechanic Mindset’s founder Darren Quinn has been offering techs insight on tools, methods and training, and he is teaming up with Thinkcar UK with equipment demonstrations for mechanics. He will outline the benefits of the Mechanic Mindset training platform and mobile phone app. Visitors to stand K30 can also benefit from a special show price for one of the fantastic Thinkcar UK tools. ZF Aftermarket will be showcasing its cutting-edge training schemes through its ZF [pro]Tech initiative at the NEC. The ZF team of experts will be on hand to provide insights into EV and hybrid vehicle training as well as ADAS calibration. What’s more, the first 25 workshops registering for ZF [pro]Tech starting on both days of the show will receive a complimentary ZF [pro]Tech inspection torch. The ZF [pro]Tech initiative is aimed at enhancing the skills of technicians and providing workshops with the resources they need to excel in today’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape. With free registration to ZF [pro] Tech start being offered to attendees at the event, workshops can unlock a range of exclusive benefits including access to vehicle-specific installation instructions for over 15,000 models. ZF Aftermarket will also have its new Nissan Leaf training vehicle on the stand. Recruitment support to tackle skills crisis Easy2Recruit, the agency helping garages hire overseas talent, will be on stand F4 at the show to explain how sourcing overseas talent can help the automotive aftermarket address the skills crisis. Ambi Singh, CEO of Easy2Recruit, said: “We help garages to recruit technicians from the United Arab Emirates and India.
