APRIL 2024 AFTERMARKET 63 www.aftermarketonline.net OESAA Academy Live has returned, with the next event taking place on Thursday 18 April at Blackburn College. The latest round of training shows from the Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association kicked off at Trafford Park in Manchester during February. The next stops on the itinerary both took place during March, with the first being held at East Coast College (Lowestoft), closely followed by Suffolk New College. OESAA members including Schaeffler, Bosch, DENSO, MAHLE and Brembo have all been taking part, with Brembo’s Siti Abdullah covering braking solutions. Meanwhile Bosch’s Mark Heard has been providing insight on diagnostics, as ZF’s Stuart Mcleod considered transmission servicing. The events have covered more than just technical info though, with GSF Car Parts HR Director Jo Warren offering students an overview on how to write a CV. OESAA Chairman Nigel Morgan said: “We are thrilled to announce the return of OESAA Academy Live, following the tremendous success of our college events in 2023. These events serve as a vital platform for us to engage with the next generation of automotive professionals, offering them first-hand insights into our industry. With the support of our dedicated members, we are excited to continue inspiring and discovering the best young talents across the UK and Ireland.” Following Blackburn, more events are set for later in the year, with dates due to be announced soon.
