Neil joins Core Diagnostics from HELLA where he was for 13 years Head of Garage Equipment, a role that saw him help bring the Hella Gutmann brand into the UK. An expert on ADAS, since 2018 Neil has been on Thatcham Research’s ADAS steering group where he was part of the development of the Insurance Industry Requirements (IRR) for ADAS repair, introduced in 2021. Commenting on his new role, Neil said: “In recent years we’ve seen remote diagnostics become an increasingly valuable workshop tool and I’m in no doubt that it’s the future. Core Diagnostics were among the first to recognise this and their unrivalled investment in systems and expertise has put them at the spearhead of this new technology. He brings 27 years’ aftermarket experience with him, following three decades in senior technical and aftersales positions at a range of companies including Alfa Romeo and FCA. Immediately prior to moving across to Eurorepar, he was Aftersales Zone Manager and Team Leader at Stellantis. Commenting on his new role, Chris said: “Motor trade professionals are facing tough market conditions, but I firmly believe there is an opportunity for shrewd businesses to adapt and turn a healthy profit. Over the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of technical and operational aftersales roles.
