FEBRUARY 2023 AFTERMARKET 65 EYEBROW www.aftermarketonline.net New Head of Channel at LKQ Coatings LKQ Coatings has named Jodie Mullard as its new Head of Channel, who brings over 10 years’ experience to the role via marketing, customer experience and digital positions with a number of companies including Thomas Cook and PPG Industries. She has already spent five years with LKQ Europe, and for the past year acted as Director of Digital Customer Experience. Jodie said: “I’m excited to leverage the full strength of the LKQ Group, bringing together excellence in areas such as logistics, product reach, sustainability, talent development and data, to enhance our proposition and ensure we are ready to listen and adapt to support our customers today, tomorrow and well into the future.” LKQ Coatings Managing Director Andy Southby added: “Jodie has invaluable expertise in all things digital and data, and brings fresh perspective to how we can deliver the best results for our customers. She will spearhead a series of changes, both internal and customer- facing, to ensure we are leading the way when it comes to supporting UK bodyshops.” Tecalemit names Sales and Marketing Director Tecalemit Garage Equipment has appointed Adam Hilton as Sales and Marketing Director. Immediately prior to joining Tecalemit, he was UK Sales Manager for GSF Car Parts’ garage equipment division. Tecalemit Managing Director James Devonport observed: "I am pleased Adam has now joined the team here at Tecalemit. I know he will bring unique skills to enhance the company's commercial operations, and both myself and the team are looking forward to working with him.” Adam is the latest in a series of new appointments made at Tecalemit as part of a period of expansion. New filters hire at MAHLE Tobias Lowen has been appointed as Category Manager for filtration at MAHLE Aftermarket. He previously held roles at Schaeffler Aftermarket and Jaguar Land Rover. Commenting on his new position, Tobias said: “I’m excited to work on developing the strategy for marketing our filtration products, while navigating the challenges of the current economic environment, which bring with them material price increases and supply chain disruptions.” MAHLE Aftermarket UK General Manager Andy Lees added: “Tobias brings many years of valuable category management experience to the company. It will be great to see him build levels of service within our filter product offering to customers as a trusted advisor rather than just a supplier. Tobias will also work on strengthening MAHLE’s footprint in the heavy-duty sector, so it’s an exciting time for him to join.” Exol Lubricants: New Joint Operations Managers Two new Joint Operations Managers have been appointed to oversee activities at Exol Lubricants’ Rotherham plant. Long- term team-member Simon Clegg has been promoted to the role, having previously been Shift Manager, Lab Assistant and Production Operative. Meanwhile, Daniel Hector has followed a similar path, moving up to Shift Manager across two decades, before this latest advancement. Simon observed: “I’m looking forward to all the new challenges of my role and jointly steering the operations at our blending plant along with Daniel at the helm. After 20 years’ with Exol it’s humbling to be trusted to take the company forward.” Daniel added: “Our main responsibilities will be monitoring incomings of base oils and additives, from inbound ships, canal barges from Hull to Rotherham, or tankers from all over the country, to ensure we have the raw materials to supply our customers with the quality they’ve come to expect from Exol.”
