Commenting on the event, Schaeffler Key Accounts Manager Andy Walters noted: “The popularity of our REPXPERT Academy Live events never fails to amaze us, and York was no exception, with a fantastic turnout of professional technicians all giving overwhelmingly positive feedback. I said during my introduction to the delegates, that if they took away just one ‘pearl of wisdom’ from the event, then it will have been a worthwhile investment of their time, and from the conversations I had during the course of the day, many took away far more than that, which is the kind of feedback we love to hear.” Technical Manager Alistair Mason added: “Engaging with technicians about developing technologies and helping them to see the opportunities they can provide is a revelation to them and also rewarding for us. It is the essence of what makes the Academy Live format so successful, and if anyone has any doubts about that, the number of technicians taking part here in York speaks for itself.” The event was further bolstered by the presence of delegates from TechMan, GaragesNear.me, Garage Services Online, The Tool Connection and the IMI.
