The 4.8- metre Sun SSL 6400 Alignment Scissor Lift 4T is aimed at smaller garages and tyre centres that are performing wheel alignment calibrations. Turntable positioning can be changed to fit a variety of vehicles, from cars up to LCVs. It has a lifting range of between 230mm and 1900mm and has a certified maximum lifting capacity of 4,000kg and can be surface-mounted or installed in recess. Pneumatic locks are part of the quad electro-hydraulic ram system, and the 3.5kW motor lifts a full load in less than 55 seconds when operating at 24V. www.snapon.com New engines added to Ivor Searle range Ivor Searle has added remanufactured engines for the Ford Transit EcoBlue and the Vauxhall Corsa Twinport have to its range. The Transit engine is the 2.0 TDCI four-cylinder diesel (2016-), while the Corsa Twinport engine is 1.2i 16v four- cylinder petrol (2009-2014). Ivor Searle regularly adds more engines, gearboxes and turbochargers for cars and LCVs to its remanufactured range, which covers more than 90% of the UK’s vehicle parc. The first alternator is for the Renault Scenic, Koleos, Kadjar and Grand Scenic use with 1.7 dCi engines (2018). The second alternator is for Dacia Duster 1.5 dCi (2017-), Nissan Qashqai (2018-), Renault Clio (2019-), Megane (2018-) and Captur (2020-). On the starter side, there is a 1.8 KW, 13T starter for the BMW 114d and 116d (2015- 2019), and a 1.8 KW 19T starter for the BMW 330e, (2015-2018), 530e (2019-) and 740e (2016-2019). On the steering and suspension front, new references include a strut mount, and strut mounting kit for Citroen C3 (2018-), Citroen DS3 (2015-19) and Peugeot 2008 2015-). There are also upper wishbones for the Jaguar XE (2017-) and Jaguar XF Sportbrake (2017-). Looking towards wiper motors, the Ford Transit Connect (2002-13), Citroen Relay/Jumper (2006-), Fiat Ducato (2006-) and Peugeot Boxer (2006-) are all now covered by a pair of parts. On the clutch front, a clutch master cylinder for the Toyota Hilux (2015-) has been added to the Borg & Beck clutch programme. Vehicles covered by the new release include the Mercedes-Benz s560 (2018), the Mitsubishi Outlander (2018) and the Mitsubishi Eclipse PHEV, the Toyota C-HR hybrid (2019} and Toyota Corolla hybrid (2019), as well as for the Opel Insignia (2017).The total range currently inludes 176 part numbers, covering 48 million cars in Europe, equivalent to 95% of the EPB car parc. www.borgautomotive.com BM Catalysts: 26 new references A number of new catalytic converters, DPFs and front pipes have been added to the BM Catalysts range, along with a selective catalyst reduction (SCR) reference. In total 26 new references have been added, which apply to 138 vehicle fitments, offering coverage to 3.9 million vehicles in the European car parc.
