Hopeful technicians only have until the end of February to enter Top Technician 2022 S ince opening for its 2022 run in December, Top Technician has seen many hundreds of techs flock onto the site to register for the competition, and then take the first-round quiz. We have spoken to many of them, and they are buzzing about the return of their favourite challenge! As always though, there is a limited amount of time for you to enter, before Top Tech 22 closes to new entries and moves onto round two. In this case, all you keen potential winners have until 23.59 on Sunday 27 February to make sure you have registered, entered and have taken the first round quiz. From the perspective of the publication of the February issue of Aftermarket, which you are reading, that is just four weeks away. What are you waiting for? Go and enter! To do so, go to www.aftermarketonline.net and Click on the ‘Top Technician’ box on the right-hand side of the homepage. That will take you through to a landing page where you just need to follow the instructions. The first quiz will then take a few minutes to complete. Next steps Once the first round is complete, the competition closes to new entries, and the stage is set for the winner to ultimately emerge after the final in October. So, make sure you entered so you can be on your way. After round one, inevitably comes round two, and for Top Technician that is set to begin on Monday 14 March, and will run until the week after Easter, in late April. We will keep you posted on that as we go. Then we will have the third round online between May and July, with the semi- final slated for September, and the final on Saturday 1 October. Remember, the winner and runner- up are set to take a share of the Top Technician and Top Garage prize fund, which in terms of kit, cash and experiences ran up to more than £30,000 in 2021.
