JUNE 2021 AFTERMARKET 55 www.aftermarketonline.net DENSO calls forth the League of True Mechanics DENSO Aftermarket’s e-learning programme expanded last year and led to the formation of the Europe- wide League of True Mechanics (LOTM) competition. It’s back for 2021, and as well as great prizes, participating technicians can earn an IMI training certificate too. DENSO Aftermarket originally developed its e-Learning programme in response to the reduction in face- to-face training, as a result of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. DENSO Europe Pan European Strategic Marketing Manager Fatiha Laauich explained: "Just as DENSO pushes the boundaries in the development of its products and systems, the DENSO Aftermarket team is always trying to bring something new, which is why we introduced the LOTM competition last year, with the eventual winners being rewarded with some great prizes. Helping technicians increase their knowledge and abilities is an important priority for us, so being able to give them access training that has been approved by such a distinguished organisation as the IMI, gives them even greater assurance in the quality of the content.” Fatiha continued: “Those registered for LOTM earn DENSO coins as they complete their training and have the opportunity to be among the leading European technicians and this year each of the final top 10 will win one of a selection of fabulous goodies, with a set of BOSE wireless headphones, a Team Toyota Gazoo Racing jacket and team gilet the ultimate prizes for the top three respectively. We encourage those yet to do so to get on board and both expand their knowledge and improve their skills, as well as potentially win some great kit.” To register for e-Learning, go to www.denso-technic.com/uk To view the overall DENSO training calendar, visit: www.denso-am.co.uk/special- pages/training-calendar/ RMI: MOT Tester training The RMI Academy of Automotive Skills provides training for all aspects of running a garage business.
