Motul has entered into a new multi-year partnership as Official Lubricant Partner with Silverstone Classic. Each summer, the Classic celebrates 100 years of motor sport history with huge grids packed with the finest Formula One, GT, vintage, sports and touring cars. In 2021, Motul continues to mark 50 years since the launch of Motul 300V, the world’s first fully synthetic engine oil. Commenting on the move, Transport Minister Rachel Maclean said: “Not only are automated vehicles expected to improve road safety, the technology could also improve access to transport for people with mobility issues and lead to more reliable public transport services, helping to level-up access to transport in historically disconnected and rural areas.” She added: “As we build back better, connected and autonomous vehicle technology could create around 38,000 new jobs in a UK industry that could be worth £42 billion by 2035.
